Simon Barlow is Chief Technology Officer for H.W. Kaufman Group International, responsible for shaping and executing our international technology strategy. Based in London, Simon leads innovation, enterprise architecture and systems delivery across international operations.

Simon brings more than two decades of senior IT leadership in the financial services industry, with extensive experience spanning enterprise software, IT service management, offshoring, and digital transformation. Prior to joining Kaufman in 2024, he spent over 13 years with AXA UK, serving most recently as Group Chief Technology Officer. In this role, he advised the UK Group CEO and COO on all aspects of technology, overseeing strategy, governance, and cross-enterprise delivery for one of the UK’s largest insurance and financial services providers.

Simon has held multiple senior roles at AXA, including Head of Enterprise Architecture and CTO Delivery, Deputy CTO, and Head of Strategic Management Information. He played a pivotal role in building out centres of excellence, implementing enterprise data and integration frameworks, and aligning global technology initiatives across AXA Group entities.

Simon holds a BA in Computing and Information Systems from the University of Brighton and is widely recognized for his ability to lead high-performing teams, navigate complex environments, and deliver transformational results through technology.
