James Stevenson serves as Executive Chairman, H.W. Kaufman Group International. In this role, he is responsible for actively pursuing new opportunities to expand Kaufman’s footprint worldwide.

A staunch advocate and ambassador of the Kaufman brand, James has led the effort to acquire organizations, teams and talent since joining the organization 15 years ago following Kaufman’s acquisition of Chesterfield. He was instrumental in Kaufman’s expansion within the U.K. and across Europe, as well as establishing the company’s presence in South America and the Middle East.

James was a founding member of the team that originally launched Chesterfield, which today is a market leading insurance broker with more than $300M in annual premium.
