David Peach serves as Human Resources Director for H.W. Kaufman Group International, where he leads all HR operations outside North America. Working in close partnership with international leadership, David plays a key role in scaling Kaufman’s global infrastructure and delivering industry-leading programs in recruitment, retention, talent development, and organizational design.

With over 25 years of senior HR experience across financial services, fintech, and government sectors, David brings deep expertise in M&A activity, regulatory change, and international expansion. He has held leadership roles at a wide range of institutions including Deutsche Numis, Brevan Howard, River and Mercantile, Rathbones, Russell Investments, and NYSE Euronext, where he directed global HR initiatives across Europe, the U.S., and Asia.

Throughout his career, David has led high-stakes integration programs, including the HR aspects of major M&A transactions such as the sale of Numis to Deutsche Bank and the divestiture of River and Mercantile’s businesses to Schroders and AssetCo. His strategic focus on aligning talent with business goals, while modernizing HR systems and building inclusive cultures, has made him a valued advisor to executive boards and remuneration committees across regulated markets.

David is known for his ability to lead through complexity, building cross-functional trust and delivering people-first solutions in high-performance environments. At Kaufman, he is helping to shape a globally connected and scalable HR function, supporting the company’s long-term growth ambitions across the Lloyd’s and wider insurance markets.

David has a Bachelor’s degree from King’s College London, a Master’s in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the London School of Economics and a Master’s in Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility from Ashridge Hult Business School.
