H.W. Kaufman Group Appoints Jacqueline Legrand to London Board of Directors
Will Advise on Strategic Growth Opportunities as Kaufman Continues Scaling Business Worldwide
Farmington Hills, Mich. (March 13, 2024) – H.W. Kaufman Group, a privately held, global insurance organization, today announced that Jacqueline Legrand has joined its London Board of Directors.
“For nearly 15 years, Kaufman has aggressively expanded our presence in the U.K., across Europe and recently in the Middle East. Global growth remains a strategic priority and we look forward to adding Jacqueline’s vision and expertise to our London board,” said Kaufman Executive Vice President Jodie Kaufman Davis. “She will play a pivotal role in working alongside our leadership to identity new geographies, top talent and potential acquisition targets worldwide.”
In January, Kaufman announced the company’s investment in CARE Insurance Brokers, an insurance and risk management organization based in Dubai. Upon regulatory approval, the company will be rebranded as Burns & Wilcox UAE, marking Kaufman’s first office in the Middle East. Legrand’s role will include assisting Kaufman leadership in exploring other new regions across the globe.
Legrand is the CEO and Co-Founder at MAPTYCS, an Insurtech that applies advanced geospatial analytics to understand property risk exposure, assess climate risks and manage response to events in real-time. She has spent 25 years working in both the U.S. and U.K., previously serving as the Chief Operating Officer and Board Member at MDS, a global insurance broker with 1000+ employees in Iberia, Brazil and Africa. Legrand was also CEO of Brokerslink, one of the largest global brokers networks with 20,000 professionals across 100 countries, as well as CEO of HighDome PCC, a captive insurance company.
“Joining the Kaufman London Board of Directors is a unique and exciting opportunity,” added Legrand. “As a privately held, family owned and operated organization, Kaufman has a firm commitment to global growth and deep resources to position them well for that. I look forward to being part of the team.”
