Bill Gatewood, Executive Vice President, Personal Insurance, Burns & Wilcox, is responsible for directing and overseeing Burns & Wilcox’s Personal Insurance team, which has tripled in size under his leadership.

Additionally, Bill serves as the business lead for the development of the company’s digital front door, overseeing a team that provides clients with online access to Burns & Wilcox products

His expertise spans more than two decades in Personal Insurance and High-Net Worth risk management teams. Bill’s team is widely regarded among the industry’s best, with professionals who are the leading experts in areas such as Private Client. Flood and Wildfire risk mitigation.

Bill serves on the Board of Trustees for Property Risk Management Association (PRMA). He is also active on the Career Development Committee for the Wholesale & Specialty Insurance Association (WSIA) and has for the last ten years been a member of the Board of Education for Hartland Consolidated School District

A U.S. Army veteran, Bill holds a bachelor’s degree in communications and management from the University of Central Missouri.
